Instrumentals, beats, mood music, songscapes, improvisational collages... call them what you will. They're just songs without lyrics, all made with a combination of real instruments, synths, manipulated samples, sweat, good advice, dumb luck, and general computer-powered fuckery while learning to wrangle Ableton Live. After establishing each main groove or theme, I sought to reward the listener with either a sonic left-turn or conceptual crescendo.
