Here is another album of songs about the human condition--mostly this human's condition, but others' as well

This record is kind of the third of a piece along with the previous two [Lonely in a Crowd and Apocalyptopotamus]. The songs here relate to those other songs in some way or another. Anyway, they were birthed in the same stretch of deadline-inspired writing I owe to my pals in the songwriter group I was a part of for two years.

There are some songs about me here, some character songs, and some where the line is muddy. It doesn't matter. I think they are good songs that play nice together. I'm letting them go because I can't seem to write these days unless I have a bad case of empty-nest syndrome.

There is a fair mix of stripped-down acoustic numbers and ones with more elaborate arrangement, but I tried to keep the production as unfussy as possible. I'm trying to apply the same edict to the rest of my life. It's a work in progress.
