I got bit by the reggae bug back in high school, but it wasn't until my tenure playing with Kris Brown's Family Sauce (later renamed Mr. Brown) that I truly began to understand the music. I tried very hard to just take elements of the music that I felt I could use without attempting to cop a style wholesale. The result is a hybrid reggae/rock thing. This is a pretty darn personal song about feeling out of place in my own time.
